This unique workshop will explore the cultural values of Ajrak, led by Barjis Chohan. Fashion entrepreneur UAL alumni Barjis Chohan is a practicing fashion designer specialising in and modest fashion and bespoke textiles barjislondon.com
Ajrak is a traditional and ancient art of fabric printing originating from the Indus Valley. The workshop will introduce the history of the Ajrak, its origins, techniques used, and how it has become an identity of Sindh, a province crossing the borders of India and Pakistan.
During this workshop, you will participate in a creative activity designing your own Ajrak.
Materials will be provided.
